Commercial real estate professionals help clients buy, sell, and rent commercial properties. Some clients seek the expertise of a commercial REALTOR^® to help them find business or investment properties, while other clients simply have office space to lease.

A commercial real estate practitioner is a REALTOR^® only when he or she is a member of the National Association of REALTORS^® and agrees to adhere to the strict REALTOR^® Code of Ethics and its high standards of professionalism, integrity, and competence. Many commercial REALTORS^® have earned specialty designations, including Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS^® (SIOR), Counselor of Real Estate (CRE), Certified Property Manager (CPM), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Accredited Land Consultant (ALC), General Accredited Appraiser (GAA), and Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).
